Season ticket collection

Season ticket collection

Postby Sakhalin Shrimp » Thu Aug 12, 2021 2:24 pm

We picked up our season tickets yesterday and were told that there’s a lot of fans still to collect their tickets.
My advice is, for anyone who can, collect them today or tomorrow or you may end up in a very long queue before the game on Saturday.

More so for the seats as you need to pay the extra, so that also takes more time. They're also logging you onto the computer to mark they've been collected, which again is time consuming. I picked ours up yesterday and, all in all, it was a good 5-10 minutes. Also, just 1 person at a time as only one computer/card reader! It's easy to see how long queues can develop!

In previous years, it was a lot quicker, and there were 2 or 3 people stood away from the till just handing out the envelopes, so you were in and out very quickly indeed.

Picked ours up this afternoon and it did take some time. Not blaming Graham as he has to work with what's available and do what needs doing. We had talked about leaving it till Saturday but glad we didn't.

I hope we get restocked soon, while there is still a 'feel good factor' to tap in to. I called in the other day and couldn't find anything to spend my money on.

So how did that work out then?

Is this why the club are advertising for a retail manager ? . Shouldn’t be in a situation where we have the first home game looming and there are supporters old and new with money to spend but very little to spend it on !

Thanks for that, forewarned is forearmed and all that. I'll stay in the pub for an extra pint tomorrow.
