Travel to Ipswich

Now with the lockdown restrictions easing. Are we expecting or does anyone know of anyone organising coach travel to Ipswich?

Boardwalk are organising coach(es) travel to every game this season - and are the clubs official away partners (both in terms of hosting away fans, and organising away travel): 01524 807428 for details. Ipswich away = £40 return or £35 if you are a season ticket holder.

If you are a member of the Shrimps Trust, they are running a subsidised coach to Ipswich for members. Effectively it is sponsored by Qualify Driving, with Rob Wilkinson driving - so that sponsorship is being passed to members. Limited spaces available to Ipswich for £17.50 per member. They'll be running coaches this season subject to demand, as has been the case for the last 2-3 seasons. Email Shrimpstrust@gmail.com

There's a third independent coach /group going that listed on the Morecambe FC Fans facebook page - £25 each, early departure.... but be quick as this one is almost sold out (3 seats left).

Hopefully we'll take a few hundred. Plenty of options for people wanting to go.

Superb work by all concerned in arranging travel to ALL EFL1 games this our first (and not last) season in EFL1.

Would be excellent if we could take circa 350 to every away game .....

Don't think there is a waiting list anymore as a few dropped out, and a few others jumped ship to the early departure bus. Still 1 or 2 spaces left pending payments from those wanting to travel was the last I heard.

Will Sardines and Terry's travel be back to running their own travel too?

Ok ta, i was told about a 7.30 start, but personally I would have left earlier with all the staycationers on the road particularly 1st weekend in August

Hopefully, but perhaps not in the short term. I believe Pyes have sold their mini buses. I'm sure they or other companies will offer vehicles again when demand increases.

Quite a few games doable by train this season. Set your reminders for Crewe (4th September) as advance/cheap tickets have not been released yet.

Wonder what the requirements for entry will be to games from now on?

Tried phoning Boardwalk on a number of occasions. And not been able to get through once. Anyone know of alternative contact?

They are taking preliminary bookings, presumably as a walk in or on facecloth, not confirming anything until match tickets are issued and purchased
