I guess if you ask my 8 year old in 25 years time he will probably tell you Euro 2020/21 was the best tournament ever.
Maybe after all the failure in previous years I don't want to get my hopes ups and worry we are heading for an anticlimax because we will get beat Italy as I seem to be sat in the we still haven't played anyone decent camp.
It might also be that I watch very little Prem league football now so don't really have a connection with the current generation/team.

Hello P/T Indie,
don't worry it's not just you who feels like the above. Your post sums up my feelings to a tee! Maybe it's an age thing and we are getting more cynical about it all as we get older. I used to be very passionate about England and went to quite a few games back in the day, but I sat there watching it last night not too fussed if we'd lost. I'd have been very happy for Denmark if they'd won. I hope and pray that the old passion returns on Sunday and deep down I think it will against one of the best footballing nations in the world.
Thank god Morecambe still floats my boat

Oh good it's not just me although I was even quite laid back when we went to Wembley until the last 10mins.
I see lots of comments on twitter saying the same thing about how people are so much more interested/passionate about their club

I just hope that it's played in the right way but I'm worried that Italy may revert to it's usual style of niggles and feigning injury.
A lot will depend of the referee and his interpretation of the rules of the game.
If we can keep 11 players on the pitch then we might get the result we all want....

We need to take advantage of what's been a hugely enjoyable tournament with a renewed sales push for season tickets starting Monday. Undoubtedly great value for money and we'll never have a better opportunity to bring new fans to the club.
