Hopefully we can keep him fit, as he looks like he could be a cracking signing! Great competition at left back now.

It's all coming together nicely! Looks like another great signing. :D

(PS I've edited the title to make it clearer for others!)

So how did that work out then?

Another piece in the jigsaw and yet another piece of excellent business by SR. One year deal is about right but if he can stay fit then who knows going forward.

Interestingly that both our left full back players came to us with a history of injuries but have and hopefully will be injury free as we progress in EFL1.

Understand that there could be news later today of another signing possibly the on loan 'keeper from Reading... :?: :?: :?:

There are a couple of interviews with Greg on the clubs Twitter feed....

A lot seem to think he has fitness problems. Why would Robbo sign someone who has a fitness issue. Just curious ?

I'd imagine it's because it's worth the risk if the player is good enough - the one year deal is quite telling I think - Louis Moult has injury problems and Burton have taken a risk but say he gets 10 plus goals and they stay up worth the risk. Probably why players like Kieran Dyer kept getting clubs and why Ledley King still had a deal at Spurs but hardly trained. Gibson is not without injury problems too, I seem to think we signed him off the back of a bad stomach injury? Hopefully the LB position will be well and truly covered now if there's an injury to one of the two hope the other can stay fit.

SR says they have got to the bottom of it so hopefully they can manage him.

I wonder if he is on cheaper wages as well as the one year deal so it's worth the risk.

Yeah, but it stops someone else starting a new thread on the same subject! :-)

Still worth not giving too many details (as we didn't) so people still hit the official website!
