Did nothing wrong but very unfortunate to get injured at a crucial time during the run in or he might well have featured at Wembley. All the best!

Thought KP could have done a job in EFL1 with his previous experience. Will there be any left :?

Don’t get me wrong, I know the club are in a difficult position with both the play-offs and a chance of manager upsetting the normal released & retained plans, but surely it would’ve been good to at least out some sort of announcement out on the official channels! Even if it’s just a ‘We’re getting round to it all’ but I don’t understand the hold-up in announcing the players who have had a contract extension triggered?

Also, 4 players have left today and no best wishes message from the official account. Am I expecting too much? It just seems a little awkward for the players to announce their own departure...

Anyway, looking forward to the upcoming announcements...!

Could be wrong again, but maybe SR prefers a ball playing centre half who can create stuff on the ground.

Assuming that Sam stays (fingers and toes crossed) that will be both centre backs who are comfortable on the ball which from what I've seen of EFL1 would be advantageous.

As for the clbn not making any formal announcements about departures to date, that's the advantage or disadvantage with todays social media. Everything becomes public knowledge possibly before the club have chance to announce it officially.

Let the club get on with its work … Must be a very very busy time for everyone at the moment

Once a player leaves the club can’t stop them putting things down on social media

Players come and players go … personally I think the four who have left so far are not good enough for league 1 anyway but it’s all about opinions

NKP is not getting any younger so I think L2 may be his level now
Hendrie unlucky if he is released,
But I can see
JS
AJ
BP
CS
also leaving
Think we should try and get Cooney back, give Brad a chance, unsure on Liam Mc
Try to get Phillips and he might slot into the middle along side Toums if we keep him,
but I cannot see him staying,
but no doubt SR will have his own favourite men to come in and do a job,
Just looking for to see some names sign

NKP was a class act last season and came across brilliantly on the videos. Glad to see he has got sorted with a club who should be pushing at the top end of league 2. I just hope their fans forgive him for that goal.

Mr Robinson seems to have been a busy man today.

Definitely. And now those players have been released, the club can’t exactly tell them when to announce their departure.

Certainly will be. From what Rod said a few days ago, they’ve all been ran off their feet in trying to secure the long term future of our club! However, it does seem a bit strange that it’s the directors on social media who are talking about announcements, and not the official account which would have a much larger reach. But who am I to judge how the club is operating?

All I hope is for the club to make use of the official channels more often than it has done in recent years, and I’m sure with the upcoming announcements, that’ll take place!

Agree about JS and AJ just wonder if Ben Pringle's game is more suited to the more technical game in EFL1. AS for Cole obviously wish him to stay but he's been targeted by a few clubs who should be able to add a few more pennies to his bank balance. Not sure if he's on a years option but if he is and he goes then it's a money in our bank for him but would prefer him on the field of play.

Sometimes the grass isn't always greener elsewhere....as Cole has found out a few times in his career. The only time he's been successful is when he was with us.

I was wondering about Pringle we never really got a good luck at him but if we were to play a more attacking game could it suit him.

Stephen Robinson is busy assessing his squad for the coming season, incl the promotion winning squad. He only started in post 48 hours ago. Hopefully fans appreciate this and therefore understand why

IF true then the best bit of news on players so far. :D :D :D

Our new manager obviously knows Stephen Hendrie from his last season with Kilmarnock prior to joining us. Surprised 'cause I thought he looked good but maybe it could mean that Liam Gibson will sign again or SA has a quality replacement lined up?

Wonder if Mark going means that Kyle could also be on the verge of agreeing new terms?

Get Aaron, hopefully Tooms and John O'Sullivan signed as well and things don't look too bad after all.

Could Aaron McGowan be making a return... :?: :?: :?:

Big rumours on Twitter that Stockton has rejected Bradford and is staying with us, from some relatively reliable journalists:

It’s called media sources putting out their ‘insider’ information... it happens at every club... I understand you seem to not want any interesting rumours but with the club having been in the spotlight recently, and not hastily announcing anything at the moment, I don’t get why we should sit here with even less knowledge of the situation!
