So glad that our promotion battle wasn't as complicated as the one above..... :roll:

Why do the authorities make what should be such a simple process so difficult..... :?: :?: :?:

I think its pretty simple to follow really.... you should try the NFL!

Quarters = 4th vs 7th + 5th vs 6th
Semis = (a) 2 vs lowest ranked team, (b) 3 vs remaining team
Final = Winners of (a) vs (b) ties

With all ties being one-legged, there's no additional games... in fact there is a game less for 2nd and 3rd placed teams who get home field advantage ;) there's a game less.

I don't really like how a team finishing 7th can get promoted, but the team finishing 2nd gets nothing! Suppose it keeps the season going for longer. Wonder how much longer the FL can hold on to 2 up 2 down? Some big clubs with financial clout hovering around the top of the national league these days.

Apparently, it is a complex concept for some people.
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?
