Can't see our owners and BoD agreeing to that before the play off final as it could seriously effect team moral.

Also where do they get such info from.... :?: :?: :?:

Until we hear otherwise I'm believing our own director Rod who said the whole thing was speculation. The twitter guy who started it (on 11th May, before we played Tranmere, and hasn't said much about it since) makes more predictions than Nostradamus. The one about Eddie Howe bit the dust today and he's changed the Cole Stockton/Bolton one to 'lots are after him.' People like that drop a few titbits, let others inflate the story then take credit if it turns out that way. It's how fake mediums operate. I can't see much substance in it at all.

If there is no truth in it why haven’t Bradford appointed a manager from elsewhere

agreed. If it was untrue surely the club and/or Derek would have squashed the rumours ages ago given the position we are in. Very strange if not :?

DA came out of the blue and has worked miracles, who's to say our next manager will do any less of a professional job?

Not if it depended on whether we won or not. He wouldn't want to add any more pressure onto the players. However, none of us really know.

Agreed. We are a much more attractive proposition to potential managers after what we have done this season.

What an amazing day yesterday was , I’m still in shock that we will be playing league 1 football next season! What an achievement by Derek and the lads, but now the dust is starting to settle , we need to know what is going on with Adams next season, is he going to lead us out in league 1 for the 1st time in our history , or is he actually jumping ship and joining bratford in league 2? Bratford fans are 100% sure that Adams has signed and an announcement has been speculated for today! It all seems very strange for me , I don’t understand why he would want to leave after working miracles for us and guiding us into the 3rd tier of English football. Not meaning to be negative here , but it’s not looking good, plus most of our players are out of contract soon. The club has a huge job on his hands now , and it’ll be interesting to see what happens in the next week or so.

Maybe he has seen next years budget and knows he has very little chance of been able to work with it in league 1.

I'm going to be controvetsial and say what if him leaving isn't a bad thing. League 1 will be a whole new ball game and I don't think you can get away with 30% possession. Maybe this is why it went wrong at Plymouth in their second year in league 1 was he found out.

Plymouth fans says he will never change his setup/system which is a problem once the opposition work you out.

However I am just playing devils advocate and would love to see him still here next season. My worry ia if he goes so does Songo and Toums.

Think we'll all be very disappointed if he is. The only reason I can think of is, as has been said before, that he doesn't think he can produce a viable League 1 team within the playing budget.

Hope this is complete b*llocks!

Those pillocks know nothing !

I would think our board will be working on a package that may persuade Derek to stay. 3 defeats in a row there and the crowd want you out. We have had 4 managers in 27 years which shows stability.

Reading the bradford forum they think all that was left to do for tge agreement was dotting the i's and crossing the t's but if it isn't announced by thursday or friday its prob not happening.

Their fans are concerned about the chairman saying the new man has had a say on the retained list and if its adams that could lead to them been investigated.

Yup.
Keep Morecambe in League One and he'll have Championship clubs sniffing around.
Fail to get Bradford promoted instantly and he'll be financially much better off, but where next? Another struggling League Two club.

Grass isn’t always greener by more money bigger budget. Better to have stability than sacked in two months time because their glory fans wanted perfection straight away. Hopefully Derek will stay here. Also it could be Mike Flynn because their are changes going to happen at Newport at the top from reports.
