This afternoons games

More important games for us even though we aren't playing.
Obviously we'll want Oldham to beat Crawley, Mansfield to beat Exeter, Grimsby to beat Cheltenham, Walsall to beat Orient and Stevenage to beat Bradford.

What about Forest Green and Salford, Newport and Bolton? I fear Bolton more than Newport so win for Newport and I'd go for a Salford win as Forest Green are a team that could keep us out of the automatic spots or even the playoffs.

I'm gonna go Salford win and Bolton win. I think Bolton are on a charge to the title and there's not much that can stop them, but Newport could keep us out of the play-offs if we struggle.

Salford look too far below us to threaten us, but Forest Green are very close to us.

As it stands with a big win tomorrow we could go third.

Can we just finish the games now??? Currently, no team that is above us are winning, Exeter, Leyton Orient & Bradford only drawing. Could be a great day, without us kicking a ball. :D

So how did that work out then?

A win tomorrow takes us 3rd! (Edit: just seen this has already been mentioned in this thread!)

Another few teams that are all but out of the play-off race now

Yet equally, Carlisle in 12th will think they are still in the chase. Weird season. A win tomorrow is now massive. Well, every game for the rest of the season is massive.

Definitely. My way of thinking is that if a team can’t reach the 75 point mark (even if they win every remaining game), then they’re simply out. That basically rules everyone below Carlisle out, and I’d imagine the likes of Bradford and Salford won’t quite make it either. As you say though, this is a weird season and maybe Bradford could go 8 wins on the bounce and prove me wrong!

We can be sure that DA will be concentrating absolutely on each game as it comes but, as you say, tomorrow could set us up nicely for the remaining games.
