Doom and Gloom at 8.10pm to exhilaration in 10 minutes.
Wonder how many at the ground would have left at 1.0 down
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Friday 2nd April 2010.
A group of Crewe fans left the ground just before 90 minutes in order to catch their train home. Apparently, they met someone on Lancaster Train Station who said 'you lads must be gutted, losing to Morecambe'. Being in the days before 'smart phones' they apparently thought it was a wind-up!

If it's the same game I remember, I gave 2 lads sat by me a bo*****ing for leaving early. They just replied "This is s*!te". On going home I saw one who looked sick as a pig at missing the end when I told him the final score.

As I recall I was up for leaving at half time that day...
Glad I didn't, but not sure my heart would agree! :o
