After a great pish up and time to recover and reflect after watching that shower.... Im here so you can throw all your nasty insults at me.

Did you enjoy your cup final yesterday? - Was it the best you've played all season? - Was it the best atmosphere at Christie Park all year? - Was it the biggest crowd of the year? - Was it 2,000+ up on this season's previous highest crowd? - Were loads of fans walking out of the North stand when you were winning all for the locals to ask questions upon themselves to why they where actually walking out?

I could go on for day's. I just hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I can't remember Bradford fans celebrating like that when we mullered you at Valley Parade this season and last?

Is Sammy Mac a natural at being an absolute tosser or does he work on it?

As for the game. The goal that was dissallowed should of been given as it was a good yard over the bleedin' line. The ref was an absolute disgrace and constantly allowed play to go on even though I lost count of how many clear fouls he missed - Constantly kicking out and bringing our wingers down. It got to the point when it was actually laughable (Just like our performance on a whole) and the more he missed, more the jokes kept coming. If the goal had of been given then we'd of been out of sight - It was indeed a pivotal moment and in the end it proved costly.

As for the atmosphere.....I must've counted around 30 'singers' jumping up and down and waving this flag of some sort only to find you've apparently out-sung us? :?

Anyway, looks like we'll be here next season to out-number you once again. Back to the norm though now chaps.....the floaters are well and truely back in their toilets.

All the best for the rest of the season - It's been FUN FUN FUN. :|

Firthys post started off quite generous in defeat but then degenerated into a load of sour grapes.

Now I don't know who was first with that chant that was being sung just before and through half time, with the drum and whistle, but the Accy fans were much better (at their place), and were in tune. It sounded as though the Bradford fans sort of knew what they wanted to sing, had got it off someone (possibly Accy I don't know) but didn't quite know the tune.

You wouldn't celebrate beating us 4-0 at your place because 1) It would have been expected, what with us being a tiny club and 2) You knew it was undeserved.

Yes, it was our cup final, yes it was our biggest league attendance, thanks to the fabulous Bantam fans who, for the most part, came to Morecambe for a good day out and to contribute to a great atmosphere, yes, it probably was 2000 up on our previous highest attendance this season, but was still down on last seasons game v Bradford...

And you can say what you like about Sammy, about the ref, and about whatever, and you can moan as much as you like, including comparing the relative size of clubs and how many fans you have, but at the end of the day, on the green bit, Morecambe players scored 2 goals, and Bradford players only mustered 1. That, my friend, gives us the bragging rights. End of.

That's 2 seasons in a row that the mighty Bradford have given it large before coming to Morecambe (in a league game), only to leave once again with their tails between their legs.

Can't really argue with that, tbh. I must admit that I travelled in trepidation yesterday given our recent form. Firthy is right though, our second 'goal' was a turning point. It was clearly over the line (I was in the Main Stand). To be fair to the ref, he was probably about 25 yards from goal so couldn't see it, he did look to his assistant, who was level with the six yard box. How he missed that was beyond me. He should never be allowed to pick up a flag again.

What happened after you equalised though, was the most disappointing aspect from my viewpoint. It was complete and utter capitulation on our part. Heads went down and from that moment on there was only ever going to be one winner. So I have to say on balance your victory was deserved.I thought that as an outfit you competed very well yesterday and were first to every breaking ball

I even have an issue with the winning goal. How the hell did we allow Howe to pick the ball up on the left wing and run 40 yards across the pitch unchallenged? O'Brien tracked his run, but surely someone should have come to close him down. What dismal defending. However, when he did hit it, it was a stunning strike worthy of winning any game.

Anyway, it's done & dusted now. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Roll on Lincoln on Monday. :?

By the way, we did nick Dale Cavese from the Stanley Ultras, and yes, only the Bfd enders have got the hang of it so far. The rest haven't a clue, have they? :D

As for the sour grapes comment - Sour grapes? It wasn't our cup final and we haven't won away from home in 5-6 attempts - It's the norm and we're beggining to get used to it...there's nothing for me (personally) to feel bitter about.

As for 'bigging' it up....or whatever was said....It's about time folk understood the meaning of banter and when you're being driven around the twist...then you'll begin to understand us Bantams a whole lot clearer.
