Are fans allowed? If not, will it be streamed?

Quite a good draw, not sure we've ever played them before and a very winnable fixture.

Potential banana skin if ever there was one.....

Hate these games against lower level teams.

BUT could be attractive to TV companies..... :?: :?: :?: :?:

Maybe a game where our fans could attend as their level does allow fans into games I understand.

I think Jordan Slew played for Maldon & TIptree in last years televised FA Cup when they entertained Newport

So he should know a little bit about them

And then there's Salford City regardless of home or away

How many live TV games are there? I'd suspect most of the following would be more likely than us.

FC United of Manchester vs Doncaster Rovers
Hampton & Richmond Borough vs Oldham Athletic
Eastbourne Borough vs Blackpool
Boreham Wood vs Southend United
Tonbridge Angels vs Bradford City
Hayes & Yeading United vs Carlisle United
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

They beat Leyton Orient away 2-1 last season! Were knocked out in the second round by Newport.
Don't worry be happy!

If the main men are back in time, this game won't pose any problem at all

Just wondering whether Maldon will have the facilities to enable a live stream of the game. Not being disrespectful to them.

Last season there was one game on the Friday, two on Sunday and one on Monday.

Of course it could all be different this time

I believe we are the lowest ranked team left in the competition who have a home tie, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that we are picked as one of the feature games, live on National Television.

Certainly not an easy tie especially when they have the best defense in their league to date. Only 2 goals against after 4 games.

Just hope that DA has our lads in the right frame of mind and that we are able to field our strongest 11.

The lowest team left in the FA Cup at home to an established League 2 side.

There has to be a good chance of a shock result ............like Morecambe winning

"The FA live broadcast fee for these fixtures is £32,500 per Club."

Does that mean we get £32,500 as well as Maldon?

So £32,500 and another £17,000 IF we go through, not to be sniffed at in these financially challenging times! Big IF like. Remember Maldon winning at Orient last season and nothing fluky about it at all. Get practising the pennies. Draw at full time and a win in the shoot out would do.

Will any pubs be showing it? Could the club open? Are pies substantial food?
