Season Ticket update

I think every supporter will understand these actions taken by the Board as they do their best to deal with an unprecedented issue totally out of their control.

At least we will still be able to follow OUR team in what will be the beginning of a new regime under DA.

Hopefully the club can increase the number of season ticket holders substantially.

Not the best online shopping experience (I'm spending a lot of money here, please stop telling me I've only 10 minutes to do it in, and run a spell checker over your application form if you don't want to look dodgy)
but it worked. Three season tickets now booked and paid for.
I presume "keep existing ticket" means you have the option to return to your regular seat when circumstances allow? There was no explanation of what it meant but I selected it anyway :D

Bought my season ticket from the club shop on Thursday and had to join a queue to get it sorted.

Hopefully encouraging signs that the season ticket sales are going well......

Yes , I know someone who didn't renew in 2019/20 due to the dire football that had one in previous seasons and he has bought a 2020/2021 season ticket. It would be pleasing if the club could announce something along the lines of season ticket sales have increased by X%. They don't need to give actual numbers , just give us an idea that interest is picking up which is what I feel.
I think that Derek will have been busy trying to build his squad although probably any signings won't be announced until 1st August.

Agreed the emails/site looks a bit spammy. Were it not for the link in the Season Ticket section of the OWS having a link to the ticketsmorecambefc.com domain, I wouldn't have been confident in the links in the email. A word of warning though, the link on the OWS doesn't direct to the secure HTTPS area. Ensure you are at a secure site before entering personal/payment information.

Although Boris et al have suggested punters generally returning to football stadia in October, my hope is that the club may be allowed to accept only season ticket holders from the outset of the season starting and if necessary spread people across the entire main stand seating areas, wearing face coverings. This would allow for systems to be tested / adapted for a wider number of supporters being admitted from October.

Not at all surprised. It's been too long for their return to league football and the locals will relish the chance to once again support the club in numbers. Good luck to 'em but NOT at our expense.

Sounds as though the owners are putting some money into their club to buy reasonable quality players for their return. Could see them in mid table at the very least.
