Oh Dear....

I remember reading something about this on the Accy forum a while ago, if they are found guilty then i hope they are giving a life ban. They have let their club, manager, team mates and supporters down.

Is this just an isolated case or is it just the tip of the ice berg, fans put their hard earned cash into supporting the club that they love only to find out players are prepared to chuck a game for financial gain, i know its happened before and it will probably do so again, but the F.A has to send out a clear message that this will not be tolerated.

Terrible thing if true. Not the sort of thing you expect in this country.

I cant believe that Accy haven't suspended Cavanagh and Williams until this issue has been resolved, its one thing Whalley saying he will tear up their contracts if found guilty but what about the immediate future, surely they cant possibly consider playing them.

But from a fans perspective could you imagine going to watch your team if they were included.

I know what you're saying, and I agree - Nightmare!!
Another thing, mud sticks, I think they've knackered themselves, if they can get to play elsewhere, other clubs will know they're more desperate for a place and offer them less cash!

There were so many 'what ifs' for Peter Swan. A very sad tale indeed.

Interesting article - but for different reasons.

"Jimmy Ryan’s two-year contract also finalised and waiting to be signed."

So he hasn't signed his contract then. Could he be considering a better offer from elsewhere?

So I take it the regulatory commission are part of the FA? Does that mean the FA are funding the £27,000+ shortfall in costs as a result of these reductions?

I guess they'll all be playing again now so I hope they were able to give them a nod on a match they're involved in so the FA could win back the deficit.............

No. It is independant. A Q.C. chaired both the Regulatory Commission and the Appeal meeting.
