Excellent display, especially in the first half. Much improved on Saturday and a good passing game up until around the 70 minute mark, encouraging performances from everyone involved as well, I thought.

Great goal by Diarmuid(sp)?

Good passing play, and some nice football played, was impressed with the 1st half winger and Johnathan Smith. As said often, team needs time to gel etc. Another good display from Wainright, looks a good replacement for Tommo, more direct.

At this moment in time i couldn't possibly name a starting 11, theres so much choice!

A very good performance all round tonight (particularly in the first half). For me there were outstanding performances from Parrish, Carr and Wainwright. Also we have Fraser back which is almost like another new signing.

See it was the mock-up shirts again. Do they not make them in Danny's size?

Good solid performance. O’Carroll looked the pick of the forwards and caused trouble. Carr looked strong and determined and Wainwright and Parris both had decent games. Defensively looked strong and Danny was his usual cool self under pressure but need to shed some pies-must be the fattest professional footballer in the land!! I was feeling a bit worried having lost Thommo and Baker but definitely felt there were more positives today. I know some of the Chesterfied fans did nort rate Roche but like Saturday looks the part and appears more comanding in the box. The addition of the new striker might help improve the goal tally which was a worry last year. It will be interesting who the final squad will be!
