They have appointed the ex assistant manager as manager and the ex manager as assistant. Not a happy fan base with the owner getting the brunt of it.

Damn, that's terrible news, I was so looking forward to seeing him one last time but hey ho,
not to be.
Hope the new guy is just as successful ;)

If you want a good chuckle, go to the BBC sport league 2 page and scroll down to the bottom. There you can hear the thoughts of Mr. Westley on Stevenage’s future. Mystic Meg he is not!

The interview Paul Shrimp referred to is here:

Delusions of grandeur hardly does it justice. I bet all our PNE-supporting chums are delighted...

Did Westley resign ?

I don't think he is the resigning type. He was still talking about taking Stevenage into the Championship and winning more medals

BBC headline, so it must be right

Graham Westley: Stevenage manager resigns to end fourth spell as boss - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51523874

Just hope that his 'in house' replacement doesn't have the effect of returning them to winning ways.

We badly need a positive result at Carlisle but it will not be easy.

We might need that 8 point cushion sooner than we think.

Worried that we could be dragged into another bottom of the table dog fight as it looks as though it could be down to just 3 clubs.

I'd take a point now, re the Carlisle game as they're one of the better strugglers but the week after will be a proper test of keeping out a free scoring side that smashes most put in front of it.

Derek will be hoping his old side do him a big favour tomorrow night but who knows? anything goes in this league.

No point in wasting the research I'd done for our clash with Borough:

I really recommend the link at the end - satire at its best.

Morecambe's easiest game on paper over the next 5 games is Newport away
Just hope Stevenage don't have a renaissance under the new man

Newport won't be an easy game especially on that gluepot of a pitch

We need at least another 10 to 12 points to survive it's going to very tight

Saturday first and that needs to be won or the rope gets cut and then it's a three way mini league for survival

Personally I don't think our run to the end of the season is easy, even Stevenage, a lot of complacency possible. I do think we'll do it, but not easy.
