Matchday highlights, A true reflection of the game?

Matchday highlights, A true reflection of the game?

Postby redrobo » Sun Feb 02, 2020 12:40 pm

I've just watched the registered highlights of yesterdays game which from reports elsewhere wasn't in any way a true reflection of the game.

It's not the first time this season where our play hasn't been reflected in the highlights even going as far as to suggest that Cheltenham were in complete control of the game leading up to their 2 goal cushion and that our chances were few and far between.

I'd welcome the thoughts of others and in particular those who went to the game.

I've just watched Cranstons foul for the penalty. Never seen a softer one in my life, and nine times out of ten that would not be given at the Globe.

It's been pointed out after various away games that decisions have been going against, for whatever reason, hopefully the luck will swing the other way and see hard fought points added to the tally.

Watch how quickly the ref points to the spot. Almost before the "foul". A real homer of a ref.

IMO, from the opposite end of the ground it was a penalty. As soon as he did it I sad pen. Also the result didn't reflect the game same as Northampton. Hopefully our new forward can supply the goals our play deserve. I though we should have been down to 10 at the end whe Wilding(?) Brought down there player on 1/2 way line. Carlos and Big Dave had quite game compared to recent outings.
Still it's a game nearer safety and no one round us gained on us.
2 big games coming up.

Check out a 12 minute Vlog on YouTube from a young Cheltenham fan which really shows how much pressure we put on them especially in the last 20 minutes or so.

They were literally screaming for the final whistle and even Robins manager Micheal Duff said Morecambe would be going home thinking they should have at least got a draw

Shows the club is in a very false position and will soon pull away from the peril that lurks
