Think that will put them on the same points as us now, that’s if they get deducted the same points again for not fulfilling a match fixture.

Think that's the least of their problems. They have an owner (Amir Alkhadi) who seems bent on destroying them. Another potential new owner (Joe Sealey) is waiting in the wings. However Sealey has a dodgy track record when it comes to club ownership, following shenanigans after his take over of Tooting and Mitcham FC a few years ago (source Wraggs to Riches, MTFC forum). Apparently Alkhadi won't have anything to do with Sealeys attempted takeover and stalemate has been reached. It's now like a Super Nova imploding from within.

It makes our problems back in 2017 with Cala and friends seem like a walk in the park. What I don't get is this outpouring of grief for MTFC from some of our fans. It's a dog eat dog world and right now we are in a massive period of transition and need all the good fortune we can get! This could give us the breathing space we need and Derek Adams some much needed time to improve things and get us on the up again. I have a feeling the future could be a lot brighter for us if we survive this season.

It's not off yet officially

Nothing on Macclesfield or Plymouth forum to confirm either way as of yet

Very sad for the Macc fans

If they lose the other 4 points for not playing tomorrow they could go from 15th to 23rd and bottom without even playing

EFL insisted the game would not go ahead, while Plymouth's official Twitter account also confirmed the fixture was definitely off.

"The core principles behind EFL competitions are that all its fixtures are to be played in front of spectators and playing behind closed doors significantly increases the risks of crowds congregating in the vicinity of the stadium," the EFL said.

"As a result of the game not going ahead, the club will be charged with misconduct for failing to fulfil its fixture obligations

Looking like another sad ending for a NW club. Really feel for all involved.

On this forum, I have made my views very clear,(pure speculation obviously) about of current owners, but I definitely take my hat off to them, for everything that they have contributed to our club so far, and hopefully into the future too. Who knows where we may have been by now.
