Showing passion, is always going to result in cards. Prefer that, to whimpering to defeat.

Showing "passion" has got us into trouble many times this season. We've had the most red cards in the league this season, joint with Mansfield. We've got to be smarter if we want to win games, it's not just a red card but now two defenders suspended.

It wasn't "passion", it was Sutton being outpaced while chasing a long ball. Arm across to stop their lad. Definite red card but may as well have let their lad chase the ball down rather than foul him. 0-0 in the 87th minute, perhaps take one for the side, but not in the first half.
The only positive is that we didn't really expect anything from this game.

Had we not just hit bottom the week he left?shrimperteer wrote:BerlinWaller wrote:DA can only play the cards left behind by previous management. The previous manager never got us relegated. When the new manager took over we weren't cut adrift or even in the relegation zone.
If we go down he's failed and his appointment was step backwards. If he moves up from the position he inherited then it's a step in the right direction.
I personally think that he will keep us up.
