Blackpool predictions

Postby Redalert1970 » Sun Nov 03, 2019 3:44 pm

Tricky one to call this one as anything can happen in the Fa Cup

Would be over the moon with a draw but my prediction is …

Blackpool 2

Morecambe 0

Att 6500 including anything between 500 and 1000 from Morecambe

I'll be delighted with a 1-1 and hopefully a live TV cash boost.

So how did that work out then?

Heart says a 1-1 and a profitable replay. Head says Blackpool are doing OK under Grayson and will have too much firepower for us so prediction is a 2-0 defeat. 800 travelling.

It all depends on what team we put out. If Baz and Kevin stay with the same squad as Saturday then we are more than capable of getting a good result.

:?:

However if either one or both decide to play it diminishes their effectiveness when directing things from the touchline.

Never change a winning team is often quoted and for me it's the correct thing to do v Blackpool.

1-1 and a much welcomed replay at The Globe; with the added bonus of a few extra pennies in the coffers.

Although their league position would suggest their doing well, if you check their previous results it's a very mixed bag, a 0-0 against a thrown together Bolton side being a stand out and they concede nearly as many as they score.
As we all know, anything can happen in the cup and this is a local derby, with Morecambe pride restored after a hard fought win.
I can see a 1-1 and a good payday from a replay at the Globe.

Just checking - if the match on Saturday ends as a draw after 90mins, is there extra time, or does it go straight to a replay at The Globe?

Straight to replay. Extra time and penalties on the replay.
This arrangement right up to the 5th round when ties will be decided on the day.

Mrs O thinks 2-3 Shrimps win.
I'll go 2-1 defeat.
