it's official on the clubs website !

Plymouth Argyle
Adams was appointed Plymouth Argyle manager on 11 June 2015.[2] In his first season in English football as a Manager he guided Plymouth Argyle FC to the League 2 Play Off Final at Wembley for the first time in 20 years, which they lost to AFC Wimbledon. In the following season, Adams guided them to a 2nd-place finish and promotion to League One.[35]

In the 2017–18 season, Plymouth just missed out on a promotion play-off place as they finished in 7th position in League One.[35] Following a poor second season in League One, which left Argyle fighting relegation, Adams was relieved of his duties on 28 April 2019.[35]

I wonder if he'll keep Kev as assistant and Barry as GK coach, or bring his own people in.Also wonder if he'll take charge for B'pool.

He'll be at Blackpool but Baz & Kev in charge.

The very best of luck to Derek Adams, and full support from me and mine.
I will be honest, know very little about him, apart from what others have written, and the info on Wiki. Have to trust our board on their decision, and see what the future brings. COYS.

Welcome and hope he can provide entertaining football played on the deck that will entice stay away fans to return.

It will be interesting to see if he has any money to spend on additional quality and whether he will also give youth a try.

Surprised that the Board didn't opt for someone in the region who knew our catchment area for players but have to trust our Board that they have done their homework on him and that they have 110% confidence in that he is the best man for the job.

Didn't Lewis once play for him.... :?: :?: :?:

Just seen the video of him explaining his background, philosophy and more importantly his style of football. An excellent watch....and quite encouraging :)

It's an interesting appointment. Did a good job with Plymouth but beyond that, I don't know of him.

Welcome & good luck Derek!

Great CV did well at Plymouth and Ross County who took from the 2nd division to the SPL in two separate spells at the club and when you consider the population of Dingwall is only about five and a half thousand that is some achievement. There's no guarantees in football but I don't think the board could have made a better appointment so well done to them.

Came in under the radar and what a great appointment, we used to stay down the road from Ross county, the proprietor was a farmer in Dingwall and a very proud fan.
Turning over their very close neighbour's from North Kessock was paramount and I'm sure he'll do a great job at Morecambe.

Really happy with the appointment.

I think he will be a good fit for us - lets hope the owners have freed up a bit of cash for him to bring a couple of new faces in too.
