Seeing that we are coming to the end of our second football league season just wondering what everyones favourite morecambe league match is over them two seasons - my home choice is the 3-2 win against peterbrough and my away choice is 3-0 win at hereford
Other than that one, Aldershot v Morecambe for Drummie's 'Goal of the Season'... that only lasted for a few days before my real answer, Grimsby v Morecambe for the 'Goal of the Decade'! 2-0 down to 2-3 win and Hunter's stunner!
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".
David Cameron. May 4th 2015. So how did that work out then?
morecambe vs exeter or morecambe vs brentford this year for purely effort based performance. wolves vs morecambe 2nd round of carling cup last year, chinese year of the underdog!
Posh and Bradford at home were high quality. If we'd av lost those they would still have been well worth the entrance fee. Grimsby away in the league my fav away last year. Lets be honest though Peterborough at home will take some beating.. Special game.
Bury at home - best 45 mins of football I've ever seen us play Bradford at home - just for the finish - (missed Peterborough due to illness) Chester at home on Boxing Day - 4 goals up at the break

I could agree with that. However the game before: Grimsby away in the second half was the same. Don't know if u were there, but it was the same formation and the same fluid, clinical display. Actually was arguably the only two game where Twissy actually performed that year. This must prove that he really is still a pivitol part of our team as it is no coincidance that his long awaited return to form and the teams' unbeaten run have come at the same time this year.
As everyone else is having a spread bet I'll go for ( apologies for agreeing so much with others)
Bury for 45 mins of unbelievable passing, movement, penetration and composure. As good as anything I've seen at any level. (and I really mean that)
Bradford at home last season (partly because of the finish, partly because of the atmosphere)
otherwise has to be Wolves away. not only a great result and performance, but Sammy absolutely bamboozled them tacticaly in extra time. and also because I went there expecting absolutely nothing and ended the night drinking champagne.
Mansfield one was good because it was our first win of the season and I'd just got back from a holiday in Turkey at 7:30am !!!!!!!!!!!! Peterborough one has to be the best though. Lewis' last game and he had a corker!!! Also, we were 2-0 down but we kept on going and won 3-2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When Baker scored twice against Stockport last season with a couple of brilliant goals - we pretty much ran roughshod over them all game and I think it marked the time when we really arrived in the League.
Weird thing is all the top ones are from last season....
For me.... 1. Chester at home....4 corners from Twiss...4 goals after going behind 2. Bradford at home...fab atmosphere and terrific finish 3. Peterboro at home....wonderful comeback.
Nothing much stands out from this season, although Chester at home was a sweet victory
Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all
