Not sure whether Alexander was ever actually interviewed but I believe his name was in discussion as a potential Sammy replacement at the time.

'Proper Morecambe fc fans page'

'We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment.'

'Healthy debates are natural'

Yeah, sure!

That is, quite frankly, embarrassing.

The positive is, that it would leave the rest of us to carry on as per your points, and enjoy the more rounded debate/ discussion. Despite the current issues, there are always some positives to find, not just droning negativity.

I am not a fan of how these lads are going about their business but the divide in the supporters of the club is alarming. We all have pops at one another on here but I think the majority take it for what it is and laugh it off. Having separate factions and falling outs over differing opinions isn't the Morecambe way.

I think this is very true. Can we not agree to disagree, have a civilised debate, and avoid some of the direct antagonism that goes on?

That implies ALL fans Mark.

This is not the case at all.

Far from it.

Appreciate your point of view, but it is (very) wide of the mark.

Hi Ss why do we have to ignore the posts. I am sure he speaks for some fans ( not going to speculate on how many). He is entitled to his opinion. If your aim is to antagonise please think again. Why not start a Jim in thread where you can sing Jim’s praises until the cows come home and stop posting in the Jim out post. Whether you agree with VotS or not if he cannot express his thoughts on any other posts due to restrictions maybe these rules should be applied to everyone who posts. That’s fair to everyone then.

It’s an opinion forum, all opinions, as long as they are not outright offensive sexist racist nonsense are welcome.
So is discussion, however the repeat of one phrase persistently isn’t, for reasons which have already been explained.
VOTS is playing buy the rules, as is everyone else, so far.
Very happy with Saturday and impressed with the positive reaction by a most on here. Credit where credit is due, but as has been said, one swallow.....

He can post his thoughts in other threads as long as he isn't simply regurgitating the same thing over & over again and he doesn't start multiple threads that also repeat the same opinion. If he wants to [for example] join in the Predictions thread, without a reference to the management team, he's more than welcome.

For the weekly/daily/hourly 'Bentley out', he can keep it to this one thread.
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Hi Keith
Thanks for your reply but the debate had moved on from the quote you have posted. In my post in reply to Freez I said that I agreed with him 100% but I was trying to be fair to everyone. I agree that multiple posts saying the same thing is a waste of time and annoying and I think his views at this stage in the game are futile as with 10 games left Jim is going nowhere and it would be folly for this to happen. So I think posting crap is just annoying ( with the admission like Waller pointed out he does get a response) but If VotS can’t post anything negative on any other thread the same should apply to others, as by your own quote he can post as long as he does not regurgitate the same thing, which is a restriction.
This restriction then should apply to others. As an example (not having a go at you just an example) we all know your views on Jim that you should judge like for like against those with similar budgets a sentement that you have stated on a number of occasions. I take it that you will not express this view again as we all know it and it’s just stating the same thing.
This forum as Freez said is an opinions forum and by definition opinions will differ. Putting aside the annoyance factor I am of the opinion that even though I disagree with his opinions and methods on occasion I think he should have the right to say it without restrictions as long as ( he is not offensive) and everyone else has this privilege. As I said trying to be fair to everyone.
