Opinions are for everyone. Time is up for Jim I'm afraid. He means well but defensive place will take us down.

This has made me look at the League table from 12 months ago and that in itself has made me twitch

Then:
Port Vale P29....-7.....32pts
Morecambe P29..-11..30
Crewe P28......-14.....29
Yeovil P28.........-12...28
Chesterfield P29..-22...27
Forest Green P28..-19..26
Barnet P28..........-15..21

Now:
Port Vale P28........-9...32
Cambridge P29.....-21...32
Yeovil P27...........-2.....30
Cheltenham P28....-11...29
Morecambe P29.....-17...28
Macclesfield P29....-18...27
Notts Co. P29........-30...21

Our goal difference, that kept us up is much worse
We were 2 points better off last season
Notts Co are on the same points as Barnet were :o
We won 9, drew 19 and lost 18 finishing with 46 points

Up to now we have won 7, drawn 7 and lost 15, we need some wins on the board but where will they come from?

I don't think 46 points will be enough this time around, but suspect Cheltenham will be the team dragged into it after they play Macclesfield on Saturday

Saturday 6th April looms closer

To be fair, there are many that insult Mark on facebook, its difficult to go on facebook and tell people about him without insulting him, as it is on here.
So thankfully, while reading this thread, it appears to have sorted itself, but please keep it civil from now on everyone.

We all have different views, but please write as you would speak to someone’s face, not hiding behind snide comments and the anonymity of keyboards please.

We may disagree but we all want the same things.

Well done Phil on righting the wrong.

Good news tonight is Yeovil lost, shouldn't have to rely on others losing, but it might just help come May

I still think it's unfair to say Jim out until we have seen what he can do with a purchasing budget. Ok tactics on Saturday were unbelievable but when choices are limited. M.F.C are primerarly a football club which needs invaestment, not just debts clearing. If Jim was to cock up a purchasing budget fair enough, and who would come in with the same money to play with ?

We've got the players to be a success. It's the constant changing with team selection and most of all tactics that are wrong.

No amount of money will alter that fact.

Just look elsewhere at what a new manager can do without any new additions...ie Macc.....

Plenty of good managers but it is whether the new directors have money to invest in another one. A few names have been mentioned on here such as matt Jansen or maybe Paul Hurst. We will never know what another manager can do on a shoestring at the Globe until Jim has moved on. Until then we are in the postion as we are now.

His CV will look very good one day when we go back to being a part time club with 315 fans ....stating that he presided over the dozen or so years that the club managed to retain football league status despite off the field chaos throughout his tenure caused by a greedy.......

I don't like the manager's negativity and pessimism as I think this spreads to the players. I also think tactically we are outdone by most teams but I don't think now is the time for change. We are in a relegation fight and the manager and players have to roll their sleeves up and fight for our club. Lets put aside excuses and start performing on the pitch. The manager needs to stop tinkering with the side and decide what is our best team and stick with it. The manager needs to get his act together if he is not to be remembered as the first manager in the club's history to get us relegated.

To avoid the forum being flooded by multiple threads all saying the same thing, I will be merging this thread with one of the existing ones on the same subject.
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Had a quick read of the FB page, and admin on there are tightening things up with regard to some of the posts. It could get pretty busy on this thread any time soon.
I am not posting this to start discussion regarding the merits, or otherwise of FB. Thank you. :)

Best thing for the club and the fans is for Jim to go. Give a new manager the challenge... Even with no money you would be surprised what the right person could do...

Macc fans shouted and balled for a saviour, and got SC " one of the greatest minds in football?"
Before his appointment, they had won 4 games out of 13. Since his appointment they have won 4 games out of 12. Time will tell, but so far, with what I am sure, substantial financial outlay, not a vast improvement.
JB will continue to do what he does( like it or not,) and achieve the no1 objective for MFC, to maintain league 2 football at the club.
COYS. Jim Bentley, most definitely in.
