Just got back ....

Just got back ....

From Ausralia recently and had to get computer debugged, the bagga,s must have followed me. Had a fantastic time with my Fiancee for 3wks , which started off in Sydney and Blue Mountains . I was really surprised how freindly the locals were , i thought there might have been a bit of Pommy bashing. There was 1 guy in particular who we met in Fox studios for a beer and then he showed us round the area which was nice and just across the road the S.A cricket team were knocking hell out of the Aussies :D . Anyway this guy then took us to a nice Italian restaurant and treated us to a very nice meal and couple btls wine and then took us to another restaurant for dessert , in the meantime he was telling us that he used to live in U.K and supported some little Northern team i'd not heard of . After consuming all that food , wine and beer he then tried to tell us that he used to be a dancer and is now a teacher and i just took 1 look at him and thought Hmm.(   ) Anyway if you read this post Mr Aspers , it was very nice to meet you and thanks very much for a really nice evening and look forward to retuning the compliment when you come to U.K :) . After Sydney we flew to Cairns and stayed in Port Douglas and had great day out on G.B.Reef. Just left Cairns in time to miss the cyclone an fly to Ayres Rock where we stayed in shit hotel with about a million flies , but when we went on trip to see the sunset on the rock there were about 10 million flies . After those 2 nighmare days we flew to Perth and stayed in seaside town of Scarborough . Perth was quite a modern city and some parts were modelled on small London Streets (more like Chester really) . Then onto Singapore for final leg of journey which was really nice clean place and quite cheap in Chinatown , just got shafted in hotel for 2 small beers $27 (£14) . Loved the polite notice on boarding card , Anyone caught in possesion of Drugs will incur a Death Sentance (great). Then long flight back to Snowy Manchester for me only -2 and for Meru back to icy Lahti only -18. :o :o :o . Hope its warmer in a couple of weeks . :D
