Southport away boxing day 2006, a late Adam Yates goal sees us come back from a goal down with ten men to win. Carl Baker scored against us that day.

We scabbed it that day, Jesus equaliser from Jimbo's back postbheader was out of play and Yates cross went in! Scouseport never recovered, we went up, they went down!!

Was my first Morecambe away game! was a great performance to come back, Blackburn’s goal was thumping and I remember Yates had a blinder. Baker was incredible that day, probably what helped set off his move to us at the end of the season!
