Morecambe World Match Highlights

Morecambe World Match Highlights

Postby Tiny » Mon Feb 23, 2009 2:22 pm

I could not make the match on Saturday even though I only live 30 mins away from Aldershot. I had to go Up North to see a sick family member.
I joined Morecambe World mainly for the Match Highlights & Audio Commentary. The Audio Commentary has been very good most of the time, but match highlights!!!!! It should be called GOAL HIGHLIGHTS as that is all we seem to get most of the time. The match is more than the goals. If this does not improve I can not see me signing up again next season. Anyone got any comments.

To be fair, there were very few chances on saturday - maybe there was nothing of note to add to the highlights apart from the two goals.

Its the same every week. The highlights on the virgin media website are exactly the same as the ones we pay for.

I would say give it time. It's the first season with World and the club are still getting used to it, and don't seem to have the personnel to make it the all singing all dancing site that other clubs enjoy just yet. Quinny and Ockers have full time jobs too as well. Don't forget you can use other sites as well with the subscription. And in time I'm sure there will be more exclusive stuff not accessible elsewhere so that it's more value for money. Plus you're helping the club when you subscribe! Rome wasn't built in a day, just like a Football League team took time to evolve, that fact that we actually have a World site is something in itself and I'm sure that over time, it will get much better with lots more content!

But World's, perhaps, one and only job is to provide the highlights. You can hardly say they're new or inexperienced as they've been going for years.

Everyone at the club works hard to produce regular content and doing the live commentaries but World are letting them and the club down with their 'service'.

I'm not subscribing next season. I'm not really fussed by watching other team's sites, so if it improves I'll re-subscribe, until then, IMO, it's not worth the money.

Which 'tiny shrimper' do you want me to bring? I'll make sure she's up to speed on all the Wycombe players. Thing is, one of them has a bad cough at the moment.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!
