Let's just take it one game at a time and enjoy this good run of form.

Another great win tonight, but this talk of play-offs is daft aint it!!

Last year 78 points were required for playoffs, usually early 70s is required which means we need at least 9 wins from last 13

I tell you what.... if we get a win on Saturday we'll be in dreamland. Wouldn't it be great to keep this run going? Ah, memories of Conference run-ins!!! :D

The poor performance against Accy seems to have been a turning point, since then the attitude has been spot on. I don't think its down to any one player, but obviously Twiss and Wainwright playing well has had a big impact. Mostly though i would say its down to the team as a whole for upping their game.

The average points are lower this season. If we had the points we had this time last season we would be in the play off zone, but we never made it in there last season.

Who knows?

Just like people talk of relegation when we're on a bad run, so people talk about play-offs, etc, when the opposite occurs. Many of the teams above us have games in hand so I think talk of play-offs is a little ott, wonderful as it would be.
Some are dead and some are living. In my life, I've loved them all.

I think we've been playing well since Chrsitmas, though I do agree its good to see Twissy back up top where he is most effective. Lets hope he carrys on banging the goals in.

SSN said that Hunters late strike was contender for best goal of the night anywhere, can't wait to see it.

Ifs and buts, if we had held on to some of the leads we've had in home games we'd be really up there now and be serious challengers for the play-offs. I hope Sammy does not set a points target, lets just keep going and see where we end up. Currently sat in the top half of the table.....where is Ned?

Football is all about 'Hope'

It may be that you hope to avoid relegation, that you hope to get more points than last year, that you hope to beat your close rivals, that you hope to move up the table, that you hope to ...........

You get the picture. Its great, whatever you are hoping for.

If we win on Saturday I think Sammy is nailed on for the gong.....if we draw or lose I'd have thought he'd still be in with a shout. Bury manager might also be up for it, they are also on a good run.

Nah , we should have sold him to Bury when we had the chance. He,s too old and past it and hasn't got the legs anymore or the desire and he certainly cant score with his head. ;)

the thing with M Twiss, although he doesn't shout the loudest on the pitch, it may be is influence, what rubs off on the team, what we don't see

he's like a very good poor mans Paul Scholes

That was my thought as well. Eight points doesn't seem a lot - just 3 games, but as other teams up there pick up wins, that 3 games can stretch to 6 or 7 just to catch them - assuming we keep winning ours.

It's not impossible - someone has to make a charge for the top - and if we did get there, we'd be the team with momentum.

For me, a top-half finish would be a superb achievement.

Absolutely agree.

We've done brilliantly well to re-shape and battle our way out of the lower reaches but it must have taken a lot out of our players and there are some tough games coming up. I just hope people remember how well we've done in recent weeks if the run-in to the end of the season gets a bit rocky, which it may well do.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!
