Hunter isn't the best in terms of technical ability - I wonder why he took all the set pieces.

His shooting from outside the box wouldn't worry the goal and he's not the tallest to win headers so having him take the corners makes sense. Also what he give's the team is 100% commitment and at times that's what is needed

I especially like him as an impact sub. Some claim he's not good enough but I think he deserves a place in the squad.

He has scored a couple of good, long range goals in the past but he's also cleared the north stand with a few of his shots

If the keeper is wandering along the carwash, perhaps.

I think we are going to start to mis Stanners. With him being injured i guess he will still be with us till a good way into next season.

I heard plenty of people around me moaning about his corners on Saturday due to the fact they were all going towards the near post.

However, if you read Dave Artell's column in the Visitor this week you will see that they were working on this during the week in training as they noticed that Chester's keeper stood towards the back post at corners.

It paid off as well as our opening goal was a header from a near post corner!

Always the way Rich. I heard some people moaning when we were 3 - 1 up ;)

It is true though, we are screwed without Stanners with a win followed by a draw witn the most in form side in League 2.

You had to be at Rochdale King Shrimp to see how hard Hunter was working, there was a point in the game where Rochdale were on the break, Hunter chasing him from behind and does his trade mark sliding tackle, scoops the ball away and now we are on the attack, amazing to watch.
