Newport County signed something like 15 in the January window.
We signed one.
We don't even know who owns the club.

Yup, Jim to go, there'll be a queue a mile long of managers wanting to take his place. FFS.

It's baffling that people can't see the job Jim does. I heard a couple of people criticising him the other week - he's even managed to get Lee Molyneux putting a foot in.

He needs a statue outside the ground, not all the crap that gets spouted the minute we lose a few games.

Come join Morecambe, where you get to play for free, everyone jumps on you when you don't play well, and you've got the smallest attendance in the FL.

Give me strength, let alone sunshine.

Correct, I think Mullers contract was actually extended to January 18

I don't think he has , and any extensions usually run until Summer rather than January.

I stand corrected, I thought he did a 3 year extension in the January - I wrote it down, but can't argue with the OWS, on this occasion anyway

If Jim decides to leave in the summer, we will struggle to field 11 players next season.

Of course we will. The club will move on. We did when Jim Harvey & Sammy McIlroy went. Jim will be no different. What will be will be. Whoever comes in we hope moves the club forward. It is a results based business now a days and whoever comes in will no doubt have the same attitude.

For some, we were never the same after the move, I , at the time agreed it was neccessary, but I didn't have the same ''family'' feel about the globe for a couple of years, it grew on me , but then in walked Diego ,out walked Diego , in walkwd Cala, out walked Cala, and now the only thing thriving seems to be the sale of club ties, with Burnard and co. swanning around looking, but not acting, like new owners, it is going to take somebody very special to restore my faith in the club, and Jim leaving would be an absolute disaster.

We don't know whats round the corner. We have no idea who Mr Burnard has interested in the club yet only what we have heard. He may or may not have had interest. I wish Jim the best if he decides to calls it a day. He deserves better the way he has been messed about from season to season and not had the real chance to build his own squad with financial help. Hopefully the right owner will come along & back him financially. I still have faith things will turn around in the summer.

Exactly, it's a results based business and 10 years in the football league with our crowd numbers and money available is a fantastic achievement. If it's a results based business then we need to keep Jim staying where he is, manager of Morecambe.

Mentioned for the Swindon job.

I thought Sheringham had been appointed.

Quite a few think he'd be the perfect leader to take them out of League 2 with the resources they have....and hope that he could take Rose as part of the deal.

Others note that he'd be a scouse away from his usual patch in terms of attracting the right calibre of player.

IF he gets the chance then it would be difficult decision for Jim following the season that he's guided us through.

However Sheringham and Tim Sherwood appear to be ahead of Jim with the majority of their fans....at the moment.

Their fans seem happy with the appointment and as a bonus their club doesn't have to pay any compensation as he was out of work.

Interestingly the name of current Tranmere boss Mickey Mellon has been mentioned as a possible No2 under Flitcroft as he has been alongside him at a previous club.

Evidently there was a short list of 3.....wonder if Jimbo was one of them :?: :?: :?: ...We'll never know but wouldn't be surprised if he was and if so really delighted that at long last his hard work at MFC has been recognised outside of the North West.

No more excuses its time to go, today was the last straw how can anyone defend what we saw today, its the same season after season. Without the ball we were atrocious have they not heard about closing down and trying to win the ball back, mind you when the manager sits on the wall with his legs crossed for the entire game as if its ok then what can you expect not that we were any better in possession the biggest regret I have is renewing my season ticket.
