Best moment of the Rochdale match

Best moment of the Rochdale match

Rochdale break forward. Our defence at sixes and sevens. Ball breaks to left hand edge of box. Dale winger plays it right across goal. Their striker alone one yard out taps ball goalward. Their crowd both ends of the pitch go crazy in celebration. The goal music starts up and all in full swing.

Then stops as Barry Roache gets up with ball. Great save and how he missed is beyond me.

Very funny.

Excellent hardworking performance tonight with loads of heros who rode their luck and didn't give up. A pleasure to watch against a very good Rochdale side.

Yes just back from Rochdale , really enjoyed the game and the result was a bonus with a deserved equaliser from Twissy in the last minute , fantastic moment which I don't think I can ever remember happening in my thirty odd years of watching football , as described above , they actually played the celebratory music for the goal only for Baz to emerge with the ball from the melee on the line and the celebrating Dale fans realised it was all a bit premature.

Lots of heroes on the pitch tonight against a very good Dale side but we deserved the point with our last 20 minutes coinciding with Rene Howe coming on as sub and our never say die attitude.

Roche continues to show why I think he has performed better than Lewis when he was here. Not to mention our league performances havnt been as good as they were last season until these last few weeks
Get over it ;)

take no doubt this was an excellent point against an excellent rochdale team, game turned when howe came on,we then looked like we could get something from the game.It also coincided with dale changing their lineup for a more defensive setup to defend the 1-0
ironic that we do this a lot but benefitted this time!!!

funniest moment of the whole match???.....
well it was in the stand behind me
keith hill barking instructions but clearly put off for what seemed most of the match by someone who had a very bad case of the curry botty burps....honestly it was dreadful
so bad was the stench that keith hill coulnt fully conecentrate on his instructions ot the touch line....."bloody hell whose guts have dropped" was his favourite catchphrase of the night
:o
