MORECAMBE WORLD HELP!

Postby BLS BOY » Thu Feb 12, 2009 10:15 am

Having signed up to Morecambe World this morning i seem to have encountered a problem!

It will not allow me to view / upload any match highlights, despite my account being successfully set up.

It tells me i need to acquire a licence??

Please, if anyone out there can shed some light on this then please do!

thanks

The first time I tried to play a video, it needed to download a licence to let it play, but that seemed to happen automatically.

Personally I've been very disappointed with the World Service, and I won't be renewing next season. The only video highlights have been league matches, which are available for free on virgin for a week after the match.

Compared to other clubs, we have no extra video content, and it's not worth the money (IMO).

so do you think the licence is required for everybody then?

as i'm in the box on saturday i just thought it would be a good idea to sign up so my family and friends can listen to the game.

Yes - the video is encoded, the licence is needed to decode the video on your local pc

"pc" being key here... it doesn't work at all on a Mac.

So how did that work out then?

Here's another question. Are all your friends and family going to use your account to listen to your ducit tones? Or will they all need to register seperately?
