3rd positive test on this year's tour. Ban em, fine em, whatever. Scare the rest into not taking drugs. We might not have quite so fit cyclists but at least we'd have an honest race.

He was an arrogant little sod, "I'm going to win this stage and that stage" etc, i'd be confident if i was cheating as well.

Should be banned for 5 years minimum in my opinion, im sure his team "mates" think the same!

Why 5 years? Ban them from sport for life, they won't do it again and the rest might just learn a lesson.

I wouldn't mind that, just think that 5 years would possibly be a big enough deterrent to stop it happening. Banning for life could be a bit harsh as i don't think it really fits the crime.Most seem to just get banned for 2 years at the moment which obviously isnt working well enough, even though there have been fewer positive tests than last year so far!As long as they are drug free after their ban is complete I don't see the problem.
