I don't know where this was unearthed but it's great to see. I don't expect anyone can put names to faces? From season 1920/21.

the photo was scanned by richard craig and passed ot me
i put it in last night sprogramme
have sent it in to lawrence and glen/steven to se eif they can ask if anyyone can shed any light on it
we think its the very first morecambe first team in their first season 1920/21 as it says on bottom photo
i think it must be th eold wooden pavilion at woodhill lane but i could well be wrong
any ideas let m know

if anyone has any old photos i could scan then please get in touch
they are very rare i can tell you

I'm no anthropologist but when you compare the older pictures of JB Christie to the team photo's there are a number of facial similarities to the chap over the left shoulder (right as you look at him) of the goalkeeper. I also not the round badge on the 1920 photo and later ones, could this be his "club president" badge. Maybe the chap with the triangular one is the club secretary. very traditional for sporting clubs to have such badges, like horse shows and town fayres. anyway just an idea.
