Best performance of the season ?

Best performance of the season ?

Postby sandgrown » Tue Feb 03, 2009 11:29 pm

what a great all round performance from everyone on the pitch

Rene Howe was awesome once again, just hope his hamstring at the end is just a twinge

thought Yates had his best game for ages, but everyone did their bit, up against a side that knew they were beaten and resorted to conning the ref.

a few more performances like that and we will be safe, well done to all at the club, all those missing fans missed a real treat tonight.

Think Chesterfield the other day topped tonight, for the way the goals were taken in that we haven't scored many like we did against Chesterfield, and I think we were a bit more on top overall.

It was like watching Brazil

Playoffs sometime in March

Automatic promotion by May sealing it with a win over Bournemouth

Premiership within 3 years

Oh and Neil Wainwright should be knighted and seeing as though the Brentford players went down like they were shot, someone shoot them.......with a tickle gun of course

The foul by Neil near the end was just clumsy to be honest - I was right in line with it, however some of the other Oscar winning performances by Brentford players throughout the second half were laughable.

What happened with the second substitution last night , was it a case of right player wrong shirt , wrong player right shirt , or just a new ploy to confuse the enemy . :?:

If it was a ploy to confuse Matchday Announcers it certainly worked

Saw the board go up and it said 10 and 14, double checked that 14 was Diurmuid on my list and announced. Didnt even look at the player apart from a quick glance and saw the back of his shirt, which of course said 14 O'Carroll.

I dont think anyone noticed, and if they did they were too polite to mention it.
