Trevor Benjamin / Luke Beckett / Carl Baker / Peter Thompson

Trevor Benjamin / Luke Beckett / Carl Baker / Peter Thompson

I've posted before that in my opinion we need a power house of a centre forward to ruffle the feathers of the opposition.

Such a player Trevor Benjamin looks to be on his way to Chester having been released by Hereford.

Luke Beckett, once rumoured to be a Sammy target is still looking for a club I believe.

It also looks as though Stockport's interest in Carl may have diminished slightly following yesterdays signing of the Linfield 'goal machine' Peter Thompson.

Benjamin did quite well against us but looked last season as though he was just about on his last legs and I wouldn't want to invest the sort of money he'll probably be trying to get.
Beckett, I think, is looking for more than we would be prepared to offer - but you never know with that one.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

No. Strange feeling of deja vu though.

Erm...... and then I check the ages and find out that Trev is only 29 and Shefki Kuqi (who I said in another thread could do us a job) is a couple of years older.

...maybe, but he can still create problems which, with what I've seen of the ex Celtic lad, we need to work alongside him. Blinks might do it..we'll see soon no doubt.
