Carlisle Bridge? Last time i looked it was trains that went over there not cars.
Any guesses on the final cost? In 2005 the cost was put at £85 million now i see that has gone up to £137 million. Anyway i better get my compensation claim sent off. Although i wont be able to see the bypass from where i live, i like everyone else anywhere near where the byapss will go has got a letter from a firm of solicitors wanting to pursue a claim so i have nothing to lose and might as well get it sent off to see if i can get a few quid.

A few quid for you..but a bloody fortune to the solicitors who will no doubt take more than their share of your claim.....if successful. Read the small print. Make sure it's a 'no win.......no fee' agreement with you. You could end up out of pocket...it's happened before!
