Halftime Refreshments.

No Bovril at MFC Who? What? Why? Where? When?

It is marketed as something that is healthy and nutritious. History will tell you how it was used to sustain men in trenches during World War 1, and was used by Napoleon III to sustain his troops as far back as 1870.

If it’s good enough for the service personnel of this Great land it’s good enough for the Globe Arena.
It also contains a healthy serving of energy-enhancing vitamin B12 which gives this beverage power.
In Essence the healthy option.

Bovril encapsulated notions of health and energy, stamina and stoicism. Bovril is good for you. It helps to build healthy bodies. Bovril is what explorers drink to keep their spirits up when times are tough. It’s what your granny gives you to sip when you’re recovering from a bug. Bovril makes your Sunday roast gravy dark and strong.

I Abhor Tea not brewed in a proper pot.

Never drink coffee so I’m no connoisseur but Instant out of a plastic / polystyrene cup come on. Any self-respecting coffee lover where’s your loyalty to QUALITY

Hot Chocolate is okay (when hot) LOL but I have to be in the mood.

So come on MFC give me Bovril every time.

Saturdays without it, just isn’t football.

I overheard a mature gentleman on the North Terrace at the Notts County game expressing his surprise that we "didn't do Bovril anymore" after he had tried to place an order.

Never tasted it in my life personally, but I know it's a tradition in British football !!

"Oi, Carrott, they've got no cowin' Bovril, what a lousy ground!"
