Doesn't look as bad on that view, it's not like he twisted his knee, where you're pulling and stretching ligaments what can tear them, thats where serious damage can be done.

Peter underwent a scan last night , but no news as yet on extent of injury.

Lucky it is the MCL and not the ACL.

ACL is more than double that timescale.

And I can vouch for that, especially if it's a complete rupture, it would be well over a year. Good luck on a speedy recovery
