Same , but it's all about money now though and you can't really blame him for taking the chance at a much higher level. After all his name is legendary around those parts.

Many expected him to move into League football sooner but when the time was right he's made a good move.

I believe a father and son have both managed a club called "USA". Not very well.
Seriously, I hope the lad does well, he can't have had a better mentor than he startde off with.

The same Roy Macfarland who got who got cambridge relegated if I remb right and whos team we beat in the FA cup and then went to Chesterfield and didn't do a right lot there.

Glad to see Clough get a go he somehow always manages to make a couple of quality signings every year and has built them up well. Would have been nice to see him finish the job and then move on though.

Another manager I used to like Mark Cooper who was at Tamworth (we could never beat his teams) was good to see him doing well at Ketering in the FA cup.

So does this mean that Nigel Clough's Burton Albion will now be known as Burton Albion and Derby County will become known as Nigel Clough's Derby County?

Lot of time for Clough Junior. When Burton first got promoted he used what we'd acheived at Morecambe as template. Liked the way we tried to play footie on the deck under JH, too. Of course they got their new stadium before us but then again we got in the League first.

Wish him all the best. He's a guy who knows that longivety at clubs and being given time to turn it round pays dividends. Just hope derby do exactly that.
