According to that they bid an outrageous £150K and it looks like they have dealt below the so called £250K release clause.

We wouldn't cave in though would we?

We probably will, despite all the stories about having no money...

I've got a sneaky feeling that jack is guna turn Blackpool down. There known for messing players about over wages during off season. A new bid was made yesterday and we've heard no more off the club. It's probably been accepted after knocking the first bid back so it wouldn't surprise me if the personal terms are being discussed now an if it's worth jack moving on !

These things take time to sort out especially with the situation the lashers are in at the moment. It is Jack's career you are talking about here so it will take as long as needed to sort personal terms out. From different reports it could be sorted by weekend.

.... proceeds or not, we won't be "buying" a player anytime soon will we? Hopefully a few coppers will be spare to go into the wage budget..

just thinking, when this goes ahead we will have lost 3 strikers and not replaced any :o ... for a team which was lacking a bit of firepower up front that is a concern :(

Well we will soon find out if Jack moves to Blackpool if we are getting additional players. Cannot see Mullin being the only striker.

I agree with stevemfc. We play a back three and seven midfielders.
Then when we have run the legs off them send on Kev to grab the winner. Win every game 1-0 and automatic promotion is a certainty! :D

Looks like it's a done deal.
Fee of around £180,000
2 year contract.
Can't even say we have little jack and big jack now :(
If he has gone best of luck to him. Hope some of the dosh filters down into jimbo's kitty for a replacement.
Can't help feeling we will be playing Blackpool next season.
Up the football league we go

Fee is more with add ons, we are now short up front and in goal, lets hope these areas are sorted asap, and that any other player attracting interest stay put.

We are already down by £50K on not having a Stadium sponsor, much of this will just disappear, really need a cup run and tv to bring us back on track.
Dover away should do it....

Surely it's worth more than that, or do you mean £50k per year? Surely not £50k for a five year term?

Even if we had a cup run/Tv money, we still wouldn't see any of it!...Wolverhampton and Newcastle games netted us over £200000 but did we sign anyone?
In fact we only got a couple of players on loan when it looked like we were going down!
