Leave J36 M6, follow signs initially for Kirkby Lonnsdale/Skipton ie over the roundabout, at second roundabout tale first exit to Crooklands/Kendal, entering Kendal turn right onto Parkside Road...opposite K Village (outlet shops), ground is about 600 meters up this road on rhs, should be plenty of parking....easy peasy......alternative is enter Kendal along A6 (ie from direction of Milnthorpe) and turn right over Romney bridge...just after Kendal arms....then turn left after bridge to K Village.......

Word of warning - the one time I went to a pre-season friendly in Kendal, there was definitely not plenty of parking - we did get parked, but it was up the road a bit. Other than that, instructions fine.

Indeed, the official club car park is VERY small.

I went to watch a match at Kendal midweek last season and had the embarrassment of having my car registration read out over the tannoy as I was in the way of a lady from the local gun club who wanted to depart!!!

The gun club have their Headquarters on the ground also and meet on Tuesday nights.

At least you'll get to see some shots on target then.

So how did that work out then?

Part time supporter   Only kidding mate !!

I know the Porthmadog ground well. Next door to the Pontins Holiday Camp where they filmed Holiday On The Buses in the early 1970's.

Bet it's "made your day that has" that little snippet of info !!
