He's a lot better than the other ex-Morecambe player you once signed (albeit briefly), Richard Brodie....

He did well for us, despite often being played in the wrong position and usually only coming on as a late sub. Probably the player with most goals per match minute during his time here. He was never in the first choice starting 11 and sometimes seemed invisible (though maybe because he wasn't in his preferred/best position). Scored a few cracking goals, often when they were needed the most. I'd say he's a good signing for you.

Some signing if use get him surprised he left us to be honest. Bags of pace, strong an holds the ball up well and will guarantee you 20 a season, see use in league 2 next season if use secure his services

Also interest in going back to Ireland I understand.

IF he signs for Grimsby I can see him getting a good number of goals if played in his best position.

Really should still have been a Shrimp in my book. Our loss...somebodies gain...

Good lad Podge, good luck, if played down the middle he will score. Not sure he has bags of pace but he does work hard and puts himself around and has a good touch!

Could be quite anonymous in games imo but in other games he looked sharp and would score goals. I feel he had more to offer us but that wasn't to be. I think at conference level he will get goals and bring you success. Good luck Podge
