Excellent, glad he's getting a start.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

How can you tell? Surely it isn't his lack of spaces and punctuation that gives it away??

Well I don't think it's improved one bit, you got quite a few words wrong there.

I've just had a bit of a search for the trialists and this is what I could find about them.

Bradley Barnes - Seems to have played a couple of reserve games for Stevenage but that's all I could find.

Robert Garrett - Stoke player who has been on loan at Wrexham a couple of times.

Steve Simmonds - Only mention of a Steve Simmonds in relation to football is one at Bodmin Town.

Michael Vickers - Former Nottingham Forest youngster who I think has had a few reserve games at Grimsby and Scunthorpe.

Andy Nicholls - Started out at Liverpool and has played for Swindon.

Garrett, the new Dave Perkins?

Same height...same build....just ginger hair!

Certainly the most impressive of tonights trialists.

He's a Belfast lad who was at Stoke (can't imagine how Sammy knew about him, strange that) and had two spells on loan at Wrexham. Wrexham fans say that the first spell he looked a really good prospect but that he didn't shine as much second time round, distribution being a bit wayward.
Wouldn't read too much into that - a lot can depend on what's happening around him.
