Squad As It Stands

Delighted with signings so far, if we had been able to tweak the midfield for last season like we have for this, then we could have been right up there. Nice to see the preparation early again to give us a start on our rivals who will be holidaying then playing catch up....

Roche

Beeley
Parrish
Edwards
Wilson

Fleming
Devitt
Kenyon
Goodall
Molyneaux
Murphy

Barkhuizen
Ellison

Mullin
Redshaw

Arestidou Edit: in discussions
Stewart
McGowan
Doyle Edit: in discussions
Bailey
Kelleher
Bondswell
Watson? Edit: released

Presume we will be using the loan market for a No.2 keeper if necessary. Assuming 3 more signings to make will be a forward and 2 defensive.
Certainly competition for players in a few positions now.

Armband still looks up for grabs

Another CB is needed as cover unless that's guna be goodalls job this season being 3rd choice ? I'd also say we need another wide player and someone to challenge baz. Hopefully we don't lose redshaw or edwards and we'll have a strong chance of a top 7 finish !

Did I not read that Arestidou had been offered a deal?

Has he turned it down / been withdrawn?

Doyle and Arestidou were offered deals, I assume they are still negotiating.

Watson was released.

I'm off to Italy on Saturday until the 17 th. By the time I get back I hope that we have signed at least 2 more established players that will without doubt make us a more combative team throughout the coming season. Ideally another creative midfielder and an additional defender would be ideal ; possibly to be,followed by a young striker wanting to establish himself in the professional game.

No disrespect to the players we had at this stage last year, on paper, at least the squad looks great, as it stands.
Well done to Jim and Ken for " selling the vision" to our new players.
Up the football league we go

Blimey, from having a lack of midfield, we now have 2!

All we need now is someone for them to pass to

might aswell say Kevin Ellison is a center forward(goal grabber) nowadays, hasn't got the legs to run up and down the flanks playing as an out & out winger.

and I'm sure that Dude from Blackpool could do a job as a second striker aswell as Devitt.

Looks like we are now a bit light in the forwards but I reckon Jim and Ken will have it all in hand.It looks like an interesting season ahead, but as some of you know from my previous posts all I care about is beating THAT JINX :D

At least we now have 3 players who are accustomed to winning that fixture... just hope they remember to aim in the right direction

Barky got a dozen or so when at Hereford and they were relegated.
He will be able to play either wing or off the striker.
Happy times ahead, really looking forward to this season as long as we set up to win and not to not concede.

I like it....

Sorry fellas I really did try to bring back an Italian striker....but was hoping that Jimbo would already have a 'youngster' from Derbyshire lined up.....time yet of course... ;) ;) ;)

The closest I got to 'that' striker was a Bulgarian waiter at our hotel who claimed he could do a 'good job' but he appeared more interested in the English 'ladies'.... ;)

Was delighted that my 'wish' for a creative midfielder and a defender came true.... ;) ;) ;)

Simple really

We only need Scott Davies and an experienced Premiership standard striker and we are promoted
