Released because he's too good for League One. Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up at Bolton or Blackburn... or maybe Preston if they can finish the job!

A bit like Thommo in that by the time we can afford them they will be too old.

Would not be surprised that Bury come in for him as well after him previously being under Flitcroft at Rochdale.

Hill spoke very highly of Perks when he was at one of our Fans Forums.

Bloody hell, after being spotted in the Hurley Flyer (a foody pub in his hometown) and having read the expert knowledge on here, I felt certain that he must be on his way back to the Shrimps.... I mean, there is no other logical explanation for him to be enjoying a meal in one of his local pubs right next to our ground? Surely taking a 75% pay-cut was on the cards for Perks and he was signing a deal there and then inbetween eating his two main meals for the price of one (wonder if he has an FCoM card)???

Then he is off to Bury because that makes sense.... there manger used to mange Perks... of course. Done deal.

No wait, its a done deal and hes off to Rochdale because Hill fancies him... done deal... having a medical with Andy Bishop as we speak...

No wait, he's actually signed for Wigan who had that stage hadn't been plucked out of the air.

Back to the drawing board; Garry Hunter spotted in Morecambe.... must be on the verge of a comeback!

Is it because the Hurley Flyer no longer give discount that he's gone to Wigan?????? Damn you Marstons. If only he'd know They will be back next season, that could have been the clincher.......
