50+ goal a season striker anyone?

Not O/T, as Messi has done himself no harm at all tonight in Jim Bentley's eyes, and would go some way towards making up for the loss of Podge...

Even Messi would pay us for the privilege to play alongside Kevin Ellison...

I never thought of that.

I hope Jim manages to snap him up before Stanley do

He's not tall enough John , we already have a shorty up front . What we need is someone with some bite whoever fits that description . ;)

Messi was lucky, Boateng just isn't L2 standard.
Great game, German tactics nearly paid off.

Ps wages could be an issue as our full playing budget would be gone in less than a month

Still, would get enough points and a healthy goal difference to go to the beach even earlier! 8-)

Don't you think even that's a bit optimistic? We'd have to take him off at half time first match and sell him to pay off the debt accrued by that point!

Did say LESS than a month, I think we would get 2 x 5000 crowds and a few extra shirt sales so there's a few more minutes on the pitch.
We would only need him, Paz and Baz

Was speaking to Leo today at training, he was 'buzzing' to have rumours about joining such a successful club, He said that you will have to wait for his contract to expire since with your clubs finacials problems you wont be able to afford him. He is willing to join you for a packet of hobnobs and a glass of milk per match, he also wants his bus fare to be covered. He has followed you for many years and witnessed the 5-0 win over Bournmouth at Christie park, He travelled over to watch the game and he was amazed at the potential they had. My son loves Morecambes enthusiasm and potential.

Yours sinceraly,

I am just writing to inform all of you 'Madcats' that these talks are in actual fact not TRUE! Chelsea isn't the club Leo wants to move to and he still is hoping to move to this pospurous club.

Bt the time the lumbering centre half had reacted he would've been past him and bearing down on goal even wearing hat, gloves and an overcoat!!
Don't worry be happy!
