Great pic Keith. Has the official crowd been announced? Should boost the average a fair bit!

Well played to Morecambe FC, did the football league proud and us, for the arrangements to try and make this a special day for us. Pity from a Blue perspective that we couldn't take our chances.

I don't think we will make it through the pay offs, Plymouth is my tip, so see you next season, when we will once agin donate another 6 points to you ;)

Cheers again UTB!

What a great way to end the season, both teams going for it and trying to win.

Great performance from all, I wouldn't begrudge Stewart his MotM but Andreas was the stand out player today.

Well done Jim and the lads, there has been criticism at times, some fair (regarding the football played at home) and some unwarranted but overall, finishing 11th on 63 points represents a fantastic season. Take a well earned break, Jim. And thank you very much Stewart Drummond, Morecambe legend.

Wonderful atmosphere today..shows how well the lads play with a bit of verbal backing from the off :D

Wildig had his best game so far and Stav looked solid in net.

Sad I can't make the awards night...but the lads deserve a big pat on the back

Great performance today, them needing the win played into our hands and we picked them off on the counter nicely and could have had 4 or 5 in the end. Hope Beeley gets player of season tonight, the Southend players tried there best to break him today so was glad those thugs didn't go up and we have the chance for our annual 6 points of them next year.

One thing for the summer, I like Devitt but please give him a summer supply of protein shakes and a weights plan; I'd fancy my 18 month old daughter to come of better in a 50-50 for the ball.

Absolutely brilliant and a superb way to sign off.

Noticeable how the team appear much more up for it when there's a big crowd in. Cracking atmosphere today. For these reasons, we MUST try and encourage more down next season.

Well done Jim, Ken and the lads for a great season. Am as happy as Pharrell Williams holding a winning lottery ticket here!!!!

Roll on pre-season !!

What a way to finish the season. The lads were clearly up for it and gave one of their best home performances this season. Wildig looking good, let's hope we can sign him, making a real difference and making the midfield work again. Well done everyone. Onwards and upwards for next season!

Bloody superb display and bags of potential going into next season. For me Stavs had his best game for the Shrimps to date and should have got MoM. Depending on the terms he deserves another 12 months for me.

Wildig makes our midfield tick and with suitable replacements around him would be a great addition to next years squad.

The only thing that is annoying is 'why the hell don't we play like that against lesser teams.....' :?: :?: :?:

:D :D :D

Excellent game today, great atmosphere and I echo most of whats been said, Wildig must be signed, Beeley congrats on POTS, Arestidu...fantastic today, if he could improve his distribution he would certainly be a better all round player and lastly.....would like to congratulate the Southend fans on their behaviour today and kind comments following the game, it can't have been good for them, with so many it was admirable that there was not a pitch invasion at the end...many must have been well p//// off with the result but were a credit to their club

Some Dale fans really have a chip on their shoulder, even when we played them in league two last season that we are a dirty team. It is not our fault that Southend can't win a match against us. We may have contributed in their local rivals getting promotion but Jim wanted to finish the season off with a win.

A fantastic performance by the lads today. Our keeper pulled off some outstanding saves in the 2nd half to bag us another win against the shrimpers. Hope we can sign Wildig as was superb today. Well done to the shrimpers fans as they were mostly well behaved today even after losing 3rd spot.
