Jims end of season round up. As you know, Jim is a man of few words  A 22 minute epic! Put the kettle on, sit back and listen to the Gaffers thoughts on the season, Stewart Drummond and the final match of the season. Please share with all Shrimps fans!

See you Saturday!

Excellent assessment of our season and a lot to be proud of BUT 3 extra wins at home and who knows what could have happened.

By the sounds of it Jimbo has quite rightly highlighted our midfield as the area that needs considerable work on during the close season.

Usually by now players out of contract who have been offered new terms are usually already announced. Does this suggest that there may be more significant changes than we would normally expect... :?: :?: :?:

Interesting close season ahead and let's hope that we are kept up to date as developments unfold.

And to Jimbo and all his team...thank you...enjoy the summer and looking forward already to what hopefully will be a successful season 2015/2016

An in depth interview here, too. Quite a few eye openers:

What a superb in depth interview. His loyalty (especially to PMG) and trust in those around him come to the fore and are credentials that WILL take Jimbo to the next level.

Brilliant find Mark..... :D

Just a sampler below....

What constitutes career progression for Jim Bentley?
I want to manage at the top. If I could manage Everton, that’s my biggest ambition and dream in life. How do I get there? I continue to work hard and to try to learn. I take my courses, speak to people in the game and learn from my mistakes. The biggest thing is work hard and have belief in my own ability, which I have.
I have a great relationship with the club and it’s been a perfect grounding because I’ve been there so long, with a great relationship and no great expectation so I have served an apprenticeship.
If we do have a sticky patch, the fans aren’t calling for my head, they get behind me. Would I leave to go and join someone in the same division for a few extra hundred quid, but I have to move my family away? Probably not, no. Would I do it with another club with better facilities who would give me money for better players? Possibly, but it would have to be right and I would only go anywhere if I had the Chairman’s blessing.

Just read this. Wow, what a brilliant read.

This man will succeed in everything he does (as we knew anyway).

Hopefully it'll be with us for many years to come.

We are honoured. :D

Both interviews were thoroughly enjoyable and show what a great manager we have. I know not everyone agrees with his tactics all the time but his commitment and love of the club cannot be denied. I'm sure he will move on to a higher club at some stage but I'd like to think he will lead us out at Wembley before he does that......he deserves that!

Just had chance to watch that,,,, brilliant, Like being a fly on the wall in your front room... Been looking forward to this game and the atmosphere it will bring before and after, since Wycombe. I am now on edge....

How many other managers can talk on that level...

Thanks for sharing :D
