Brilliant 2nd half after the subs. Could have scored at least 4 had it not been for their keeper AKA reincarnated Peter Schmeichel

Another brilliant result on the road. Only the top five clubs have won more away games this season. Can I get an away season ticket next year? Ha ha! Well done Jim and the boys. Lets get at least a point next weekend

Just imagine where we could have been tonight IF our home form had been just that bit better.

We would still be on a bus back from Wycombe   .

You can say if only all you like but mid table on 60points is a hell of an achievement to say we were relegation favorites again at the start of the season

...we'd have played crap and lost?

Sounds like a fantastic second half and but for their keeper, we'd have hammered them. So three seconds on the Football League Show and it will sound like we were lucky. Obviously.

Listened to BBC 3 Counties radio on way back from the game. They could teach Radio lancs a thing or 2. Even though the headline was Watfords promotion they gave equal air time to Wycombe, Luton and Stevenage. Very good appreciation of opposition and presenters all agreed we were worthy winners and Jim got his subs spot on recognising their weaknesses at half time. Great result and well deserved.

So were Wycombe but look at them.

I put a bet on at the start of the season to finish above the 'relegation group' of us, Stanley, Exeter & Wycombe.

Haven't won that but will I win the top half finish bet? :)

Was a great listen on Player earlier...apart from the occasional swearing, it was a good debut from Matt!

Well done to the players on a terrific result...sounds like it could have been more. :D

12th is not sealed yet :? 5/1 at start of season

12 Morecambe 45 16 12 17 50 51 -1 60
13 Dagenham 45 17 8 20 57 57 0 59
14 Oxford United 45 14 16 15 49 49 0 58
15 AFC Wimbledon 45 14 15 16 53 59 -6 57

Walking to the ground a few of us feard an early goal for Wycombe could result in a Port Vale esq score line. The first half was nothng to get excited about, a bit dull end of season fodder. The early subs in the second half ignighted the shrimps and any neutral might have though we were the team going for promotion. They hit the bar and a couple of close calls but not a lot to trouble Stav and the defence. At the other end we could have ha 4 or 5. Ingram got MOM for them and it was well deserved. 4 great 1 handed saves, Kenyon with a chance we were all left clutching our heads at. Mullin sneaking in at the back post, was great to see. Did get a bit worrid when Ingram went up for a free kick at the end, had visions of him scoring to cap off his day. Great away support from the 90 odd Shrimps who as normal were in fine voice. Now I hope that the home faithfull get to see what we have on out travles this season.

Was Fleming injured or just not up for it.... :?: :?: :?:

It's well known that for me he's the one to go in midfield BUT Jimbo rates him..... :!: :!: :!:

Height, Strength and vision would be a nice little addition to the midfield next season or a 22yr old Drummy . ;)

He did seem his usual hot-headed self and picked up a booking in the process, as did Redshaw.

Great day yesterday, fantastic three points. This definitely was NOT a smash and grab, their keeper made some high class saves in the second half. Fair play to the Wycombe fans, they were welcoming before the match and gracious in defeat.

Loved being a part of the player team yesterday, first time I've done it and we won, glad to of broken that hoo-doo!

I can't tell you how embarassed I am that my conversation was picked up and transmitted at half time, if anyone was offended by the language used can I apologies from the bottom of my soul, no excuses, I should've been more careful.

Onward to Saturday and Southend!
Its all in the hips.

He's had one poor season (for his standards) which for the majority he has played in an exposed midfield 2 to accommodate for our 3 centre halves. He was our player of the season last year, form is temporary... But I'm sure you know best

I think Fleming will come good again.

Championship scouts have looked at him in the past and we need players like that. He seems to have been helped by Aaron Wildig's arrival so I hope we can sign both up soon. ;) ;)
