I'm sticking with the 1-1 prediction that I made in what used to be RRW's Prediction Competition. I wanted to go for a win but after frequently posting that our home form was due to change, it never does!

HOPEFULLY TODAY IS THE DAY IT CHANGES!!!

Now come on, keep the pressure on and put them to the sword rather than try to play deep.

Stevie D said "we're sitting a little bit deep at the moment" then about thirty seconds later is describing an Accrington goal. Ah well, three minutes for our lead.

Chants in the background of "you'll never beat the Stanley". Ten men for fifty minutes and we barely registered a shot on goal, even from the penalty spot.

"I couldn't see where a goal would come from". :(

Only one thing I'd say when Downsey is commentating is that he says "looking for options" about 20 times a minute. Much better as the analyser than the commentator.

I'll be at bury - will miss freez telling me about last nights pub quiz whilst I'm either a) at the supermarket or doing the ironing!

Complete lack of ambition yet again. Bentley doesnt look like a football league manager, although he can handle himself in a fight! They were there for the taking yet they looked as likely as us to score a winner. Fair play to Scott Davies who played his part in the banter. Shame the lad got chucked out, no pyro no party.

Very poor game between two poor sides, Scott dived to his left and Wilson puts it over the bar just typical for this game, the lack ambition was unbelievable, we should have chucked the kitchen sink at them in the second half but it seemed as if a point was enough.

Well Jim there has to be an improvement sooner than later because you will lose the support, enough is enough.

Absolutely pathetic second half performance. The only thing that stopped us winning today was our own lack of desire to win the game, lack of passion, and lack of quality. Accrington are a crap side (although I am sure Jim will come out telling us they are a good side with good players as he does every week). The referee was great and made all the calls to give us all the decisions. Usually against Accy they get away with murder and then get lucky decisions themselves but there was NONE of that today.

The fact our substitutions were bringing on strikers to play out of position shows you how poor our midfield is. It needs a massive overhaul this summer.

Its not the point though we should have had all three points, They were there for the taking even their own fans couldnt be bothered to make the short trip from Accrington, why did we open the away end ?

I loved the first half. It was tasty, open attacking football from both teams, a good dollop of shocking defending, couple of goals, a dugout bust up and a red card! What more could you ask for from a derby?

Second half on the other hand was dire. Accrington parked the bus and we yet again showed how incapable we are at breaking down teams that are their for the taking. Our lack of movement and ideas is shocking. And Bentley's tactic of piling on strikers...absolutely ludicrous! Our shape when attacking was laughable, Fleming or Goodall would get the ball and look up to see Ellison, Amond, Mullin and Redshaw all hovering on the edge of the Accrington area BECAUSE THEY ARE STRIKERS! How long will it take for Bentley to pick up on this 'ground breaking' fact?!

Agree the second half was poor from our point of view...disappointed to see Devitt taken off, he at least looked to do the unpredictable which was the only way to break down a determined rear guard action from Accy
Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all

Very poor second half an some serious work to be done over the summer. Very lucky we got off to a good start this season because at the minute I don't think there's many worse teams in the league at the minute than us ! Feel sorry for the odd 2 or 3 players that actually put a shift in each week carrying the rest of the crap we've got at the minute !
